Using a Libec LANC Zoom Controller on the Sony PXW-X70

We are happy to announce that we can now successfully use our favorite Libec Zoom controllers on our Sony PXW-X70, Sony HXR-NX80 and Sony PXW-Z90V  camcorders.

So, firstly, we felt the RM-VPR1 zoom controller (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/925709-REG/sony_rm_vpr1_remote_control_with_multi_terminal.html) wasn't an option for us - purely because of its design.

​After a few months of putting this project on the back-burner, the idea came to convert back to the Sony AV/R type MultiPort. (As it was apparent that anything we interfaced with the X70, needed to be converted back to AV/R).

...you are able to connect your Libec LANC Zoom controller... and it works flawlessly!
